Here you can expect stories and recipes: real food, seasonal, honest. I get really excited about flavours and colours and seasons, but most of all I love food that’s unpretentious yet interesting. Wait… you’re only 24? For some reason I thought you were in your early 30s! The internet makes you sound very mature, haha.
Haha, since putting my age out there you’re not the only person to have said that! Which is pretty funny because I guess sometimes I don’t feel as mature as I should be in real life ;)
This is the most honest ‘About’ page that I have read! Wishing you many pages of happy blogging.
Hi I have a confession, I am a 27 year old male and love your blogs. There I said it, I feel better already. I also love cooking, sometimes I worry this may make me seem a bit “fruity”. What do you think is the appropriate age for a heterosexual male to be baking? Is there any chance you can add a request section to your blog?
Hi J. Thanks for your comment, always excited to receive them. Clearly the most appropriate age for a male to be baking, heterosexual or otherwise, is any age… I mean, who cares about gender stereotypes these days? And there are obviously plenty of great male pastry chefs etc.
I will work on a request section… meanwhile, you can either email requests to milliemirepoix (at) gmail (dot) com or just submit them in the comments!
Hello! My name is Jennifer and I love reading your various eating in blogs but it seems as though you have gone missing. I literally check everyday and pray for a little surprise when I click on the eating in but alas nothing. Come back … we miss you in Virginia Beach, VA! :-)
Hi Jennifer, you’re right, I have gone a bit AWOL on this blog – but don’t worry, it’s just temporary! Things have gotten a little crazy in my personal life but I promise I’ll be back asap when it’s all under control. Thanks so much for your comment, it means a lot. xox Mika
That is exciting news! I will wait in great anticipation! :-)
